Job Description & Summary

Those in accounting at PwC will focus on managing financial records, analysing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making.
About PwC ETIC - Egypt Technology and Innovation Centre
PwC opened a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that delivers high quality technology solutions to consulting clients across the globe. The centre provides a broad suite of skills and services to our clients, ranging from packaged applications such as SAP and Oracle, to cyber security, data analytics, custom development and cloud services utilising AWS, Azure and Google, as well as expanding our existing managed services capabilities.
The centre is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery to help shape and form this new venture.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is fluent in German and possesses a strong background in finance and/or accounting. The ideal candidate will join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing accounts receivable and payable using time logging system and Sage
- Carrying out billing, collection and reporting activities accordingly
- Interpreting and reporting the monthly financial results; recommending actions
- Job code creation on time logging system
- Tracking timesheets submission
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Bank account reconciliations
- Performing account reconciliations
- Running reports and data sharing
- Supporting month end and year end processes
- Supporting cash flow forecasting
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Fluency in German (both written and spoken) and proficiency in English
- Proven experience in finance and/or accounting roles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
