Finance Project Manager, 3 Months Contract

What you'll do:

As a Finance Project Manager based in Singapore, you will immerse yourself in the critical task of transforming finance operations through hands-on involvement in process analysis, documentation, and redesign. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around reviewing current Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows across various customer accounts. By partnering with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 project team, you will help shape future-state processes that reflect both operational needs and strategic objectives. Facilitating workshops with stakeholders from finance and operations will be essential as you validate existing procedures and gain consensus on proposed enhancements. Your ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend standardisation opportunities will drive continuous improvement. • Review existing Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) finance processes across key customer accounts, ensuring comprehensive documentation that reflects current operational realities.
• Partner with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 project team to design future-state finance processes that align with the goals of the D365 implementation and organisational requirements.
• Develop detailed account-specific process documentation that integrates both operational needs and finance requirements for seamless system adoption.
• Facilitate collaborative workshops and discussions with finance and operational stakeholders to validate existing workflows and secure sign-off on proposed improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams from both internal departments and external partners to ensure consistency in process redesigns and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardisation within current finance processes, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Produce clear, comprehensive process maps along with supporting documentation to enable a smooth transition during system upgrades or migrations.
• Support change management initiatives by helping business users understand, accept, and adopt new finance processes through effective communication and training.

• Proven experience leading or supporting finance transformation or process improvement projects within large organisations or professional services environments.
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes including their integration within broader financial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to document business processes thoroughly while facilitating collaborative process mapping workshops involving diverse stakeholders.
• Exposure to ERP implementations such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), SAP, Oracle or similar platforms; familiarity with D365 is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills enabling you to engage effectively with finance teams, operations staff, project managers, and external partners across multiple business units.
