FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of CDR NAVY EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT COMMAND.

You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work to examine, verify, analyze and maintain and reconciled accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports.

You will exam documents for accuracy, compliance, satisfaction or default in fulfilling contractual obligations, reimbursements for medical and domiciliary care, education, travel and transportation.

You will perform analytical work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintain ledgers, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.

You will review, analyzes, processes and balance incoming transmittal Letters (TLs), automated accounting obligations (Bl records), and Budget OPTAR Reports (BORs) into the accounting system (Navy ERP).

You will review, and analyzes suspended accounting transactions and takes corrective action to resolve and correct transactions by working with DFAS, and other internal and external financial personnel.

You will perform budget execution and analyze work involving monitoring obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding.

You will conduct research, identify and analyze trends in the use of funds, and evaluate the effects of continuing changes in program plans and funding.

You will act as a liaison between operational units and DFAS to resolve discrepancies.

You will use automated budgetary and accounting system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing financial assignments.

You will provide financial statements, accounting reports, and other information reflecting the interrelationship between accounting, budgeting, and other management data.

You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities as required.
