Fire Protection Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Prepare, review and coordinate fire protection system designs in accordance with project specifications and applicable Singapore fire safety requirements.
Develop fire protection engineering drawings, technical submissions and design documentation.
Review engineering drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant project stakeholders on fire protection design matters.
Provide technical support during project implementation, including addressing design-related queries and resolving technical issues.
Assist with the preparation and submission of fire safety plans and related technical documents to the relevant authorities, where required.
Carry out design checks and technical assessments to ensure that proposed fire protection systems meet project requirements.
Support project teams in ensuring timely completion of engineering design and documentation.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in fire protection system design and engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of Singapore fire safety regulations, SCDF requirements and relevant codes of practice.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other relevant engineering design software.
Good technical knowledge, communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
