Fire Safety Officer

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fire Safety Officer to represent some of the UK’s largest social housing landlords. In this role, you’ll carry out regular fire safety system inspections across a range of multi-dwelling residential buildings – ensuring everything is in top working order to keep residents safe.

• Location: Nottingham, Derby, Leicester area
• Salary: £13 per hour
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 24 hours per week
• Holidays: 23 days holiday (rising to 25) + bank holidays (Pro-rated)

What you’ll be doing:

• Carry out routine checks (weekly/monthly) on fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors, and general building safety features.
• Spot and report potential fire safety issues with confidence and clarity.
• Log inspections using our easy-to-navigate CRM system and company PDA.
• Ensure your daily schedule is completed in full – efficiently and independently.
• Follow structured reporting procedures for any on-site issues or concerns.

What we’re looking for:

• A full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in fire safety or property inspections is a real plus
• Familiarity with CRM systems – especially CASH for Windows – is desirable
• Someone organised, reliable, and self-motivated – you’ll be trusted to work solo
• A clear communicator who’s tech-savvy and solution-focused
