Fleet Manager

Position Objective

As the key liaison between BYD and the Saudi importer for Fleet business, the Fleet Manager is responsible for driving Fleet sales growth, establishing a structured key account and Sub-dealer management system, and ensuring healthy channel operations. This role will coordinate customer allocation across Dealers, Sub-dealers, and the Fleet team to prevent channel conflicts and unhealthy competition while maximizing overall sales performance.

Key Objectives:

1. Drive Fleet business growth by developing government, corporate, rental, and strategic customers.

2. Build a structured key account management system to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

3. Balance customer allocation among Dealers, Sub-dealers, and the Fleet team to prevent customer conflicts and price competition.

4. Improve Sub-dealer performance and operational efficiency to increase overall market share.


Key Responsibilities

1. Fleet Customer Development & Relationship Management

· Develop and execute Fleet customer acquisition plans targeting government entities, corporate customers, rental companies, and other strategic accounts.

· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers to improve customer retention and repeat business.

· Lead major Fleet projects by coordinating sales, delivery, and after-sales resources to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Fleet Sales & Project Management

· Develop Fleet sales plans based on annual targets and monitor the sales pipeline, order status, and vehicle deliveries to ensure target achievement.

· Regularly review sales performance and project progress, driving the successful execution of key Fleet opportunities while resolving business issues promptly.

3. Customer Allocation & Channel Management

· Establish clear customer allocation rules among Dealers, Sub-dealers, and the Fleet team to ensure transparent customer ownership and project management.

· Resolve channel conflicts, prevent customer poaching, duplicate customer development, and destructive price competition to maintain a healthy sales network.

4. Sub-dealer Business Management

· Set sales targets for Sub-dealers and continuously monitor their sales performance, inventory, and business development.

· Drive the expansion and performance improvement of Exclusive Sub-dealers, increasing their contribution to overall sales through targeted action plans.

5. Business Analysis & Strategic Planning

· Analyze Fleet sales performance, customer development, sales pipeline, and Sub-dealer business performance on a regular basis.

· Monitor competitor Fleet activities, pricing strategies, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and commercial policies.

6. Cross-functional Coordination & Problem Solving

· Organize regular Fleet business review meetings and coordinate with the importer and internal departments to resolve commercial, delivery, and after-sales issues.

· Drive issue resolution, project follow-up, and continuous process improvement to enhance Fleet sales efficiency and channel operations.
