Floral Designer
Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Floral Designer for our Bloomfield Township location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confers with client/customer regarding price and type of arrangement desired while providing excellent customer service.
- Design floral arrangements according to client/customer’s requirements.
- Provide design expertise to other associates, as needed.
- Pack and wrap completed arrangements.
- Assist management with ordering product, supplies, etc. and ensuring proper inventory control to ensure freshness and product quality.
- Prepare (un-box, cut and sleeve flowers) and maintain floral displays per department guidelines.
- Maintains good communication within the department, in the store and throughout the organization.
- Greets customers and provides them with prompt and courteous service and/or assistance, per our Company customer service standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- One year related floral design experience, required.
- Floral design certification, preferred.
- Must be able to properly use all of the equipment in the department.
- Excellent communication.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hour periods.
- Must be able to regularly bend, lift and/or move 25 pounds.
