FORGE OPERATOR - AM
£15.85 operator level inclusive of 15% shift allowance to Setter Operator £17.61 per hour including shift allowance - Competitive Hourly Rate - skill level dependent and ongoing development through Grading Structure.
Prime Location: Leicester, Meridian Business Park, Excellent Working Conditions, Parking
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 6 am to 2.30 pm, Friday 6 am to 11.30 am. 15 minute paid break and 30 minute unpaid break. Excellent canteen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Experienced in Hot Forging
- Set and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
- Supporting in the production areas in the slitting and shot blasting
- Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace
- Uses gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications
- Self certification of your personal work
- Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times
- Responsible for producing SPC charts and records
- To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards
- Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to
- Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality
- To adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
- Previous hot forging experience preferred
- Experience on hot press, slitter, and shot blasting required
- Power press training preferred
