Forger Roller

About the Role:

Provide leadership and direction in forging/rolling operations. Follow established corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines. Deliver consistent results to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications (Required & Preferred):

Education: High School or equivalent (R), Associate Degree or equivalent experience (P)

Experience: 2 years hot mill rolling (R); 3-5 years manufacturing or equivalent experience (P)

Areas of Knowledge: Safety, Health & Environmental (R), Labor Contract (R), Manufacturing (P), Management (R), Haynes Northside Production Operation (P), Lean Manufacturing (P), 5S (P)

Skills: Written and oral communication (R), Organizational (R), Leadership (R), Computer (R), Interpersonal Relations

Role Responsibilities:

1. Proactive safety-first attitude.

2. Ensure compliance to all safety, environmental, AAP & EEO rules, regulations, and laws.

3. Ensure compliance to plant rules.

4. Direct daily operations of forge/mill crews.

5. Follow all SOP’s and QCI’s.

6. Adhere to the collective bargaining agreement.

7. Maintain all needed documentation

8. Schedule daily work to meet production goals.

9. Assist supervisors in directing grind/cut operations, filling needed overtime, and maintaining operating supplies
