Forklift Operator

BridgeWorks is hiring Forklift Operators for a company in Ft. Inn

1st M-F: 7am-3:15pm

2nd: M-F: 3pm-11:15pm

3rd: M-F: 11pm-7:15am

5th: S-M: 7pm-7:15am Sat, Sun & Mon

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification or license as required by OSHA standards.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret order sheets and use RF scanning equipment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating multiple types of forklifts including stand-up forklifts and clamp trucks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Previous experience in order picking and shipping/receiving operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, and clamp trucks to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and storage racks according to company procedures.
• Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate selection and tracking of inventory.
• Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and operational guidelines.
