Form Setter - Infrastructure - El Paso
Job Summary:
A Form Setter erects and sets wood and/or metal forms for concrete structures, such as sidewalks, walls, and slab on grade. In this position, you will install forms for set concrete placement and perform labor duties as deemed necessary.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assist with constructing vertical forms for columns and retaining walls.
· Bolt, nail, block, and align forms as directed by the form and to the layout provided.
· Dig ditches and level earth to fine grade specifications, using pick, shovels, and rakes.
· Grade dirt and concrete efficiently and accurately.
· Construct forms, then assist in raising them to the required elevation.
· Must perform general laborers’ duties as needed.
· Regular attendance is required according to company policy to ensure the crew can operate at a normal efficiency level.
· Adheres to procedures, regulations, and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
· Follow instructions and comprehend construction needs.
· Performs other duties of a similar or related nature as assigned.
