Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

Join a healthcare technology team building AI tools that automate patient communication and administrative workflows. You will work directly with healthcare customers to implement solutions that help patients access care and reduce operational pressure on clinic staff.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship production integrations, configure AI agents, and implement platform logic for customer workflows and scheduling rules.
• Lead technical implementations from discovery and scoping through project planning, coordination, and go-live.
• Design reusable systems and playbooks that make complex customer implementations more scalable.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customer teams, leading discovery and resolving integration issues.
• Monitor AI agent performance in production, diagnose failures, and improve accuracy, reliability, and patient experience.
• Support account growth by deploying features and addressing customer needs after launch.
• Translate customer observations and feedback into product requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Three to six years of experience, including customer-facing work and leadership of projects with customer deliverables.
• Experience shipping production systems and proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• A computer science degree or equivalent technical background, with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience primarily in software engineering or related technical roles, rather than data science or analytics.
• Healthcare workflow or EHR integration experience is helpful.
• A record of strong performance, such as meaningful technical projects or success in a demanding engineering environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% for customer visits.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
