Discussion

Summary

Founding-team internship at a pre-seed AI startup building an agentic, end-to-end automated headhunting platform. You ship full-stack features daily alongside the CTO using TypeScript, React, Supabase, Prisma, and Typesense, working hybrid/on-site in San Francisco on a 6-day work week.

About the Role

This is a founding-team internship at a pre-seed AI startup building an end-to-end automated headhunting platform. You will work directly alongside the CTO, owning full-stack features from ideation to production, and playing a meaningful role in shaping how top talent connects with growing companies.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship end-to-end features to production on a daily cadence.

  • Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team to own components from ideation through deployment.

  • Develop and iterate on a fully agentic system to automate headhunting end-to-end.

  • Engage directly with users to measure impact on hiring speed and candidate experience.

  • Contribute to a fast, high-output, low-ego engineering culture with a strong ownership mindset.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 6 months of professional or project-based experience building production features in TypeScript and React.

  • Full-stack development focus with a demonstrated ability to ship end-to-end features; not primarily an ML engineer or heavily specialized in a single language such as Python or C++.

  • Currently enrolled in or pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

  • Production experience with Supabase, Prisma, and Typesense in a React/TypeScript stack.

  • Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating full-stack projects and open-source contributions.

  • Standout credentials: strong academic record, notable projects, or active open-source presence.

  • Experience working in early-stage or entrepreneurial environments with rapid iteration and shipping cadence.

  • Familiarity with Cursor as a development tool is a plus.

  • Open to working on-site in San Francisco and willing to commit to a 6-day work week.

Location

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California. The team works from a collaborative hacker-house setup. Visa sponsorship is available.
