Founding Engineer
You design and implement large-scale distributed systems, shape an extensible and decentralized architecture, and apply web3 reputation concepts. You monitor performance, identify and mitigate security risks, maintain technical documentation, support external developers, and stay current with web3 developments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems
- Navigate web3 reputation use cases
- Apply graph-based algorithms, ZK-based systems, attestation smart contracts, and DID and VC infrastructure
- Build scalable, decentralized, and extensible system architecture
- Define, collect, and monitor key performance metrics
- Identify and mitigate security risks
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Interface with external developer communities and onboard them
- Stay current with technical developments in web3
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience engineering large-scale distributed systems
- 2+ years in a design, architect, or lead role
- Past web3 contributions
- Experience designing and implementing public, stable APIs
- Proficiency in two or more of Rust, Golang, TypeScript, Solidity, and Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
