About Observer
Observer is building an AI desktop assistant that provides real-time contextual assistance during interviews, sales conversations, technical discussions and professional meetings.
We're looking for a technically strong engineer who wants to help shape an early-stage AI product from the ground up.
What you'll work on
Build and maintain Observer's desktop application and web experiences.
Develop scalable frontend and backend functionality.
Integrate LLM APIs and real-time AI capabilities.
Work with streaming, transcription and contextual AI workflows.
Design reliable APIs, database architecture and application infrastructure.
Improve application performance, responsiveness and user experience.
Collaborate directly on product architecture and technical decisions.
Tech Stack
Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Electron Backend: Node.js / Bun, REST APIs Database: PostgreSQL, Supabase AI: OpenAI, Google Gemini and other LLM APIs Tools: Git, GitHub Actions, modern development workflows
What we're looking for
Strong experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
Full-stack development experience.
Familiarity with backend architecture, APIs and databases.
