About the Role

Join a small engineering team building agentic systems for an AI-native legal services business. You will work across the stack to deliver reliable tools and workflows used by legal professionals every day.

What You'll Do

  • Ship full-stack features across client-facing applications, legal workspaces, review queues, document comparison tools, agent chat, and operations dashboards.

  • Develop integrations with collaboration, email, document, e-signature, and billing platforms.

  • Improve observability, evaluations, and infrastructure to support trustworthy agents at scale.

  • Work directly with legal professionals to scope technical problems, deliver solutions, and incorporate feedback.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to seven years of full-stack engineering experience, including maintaining and evolving SaaS applications beyond the prototype stage.

  • Production experience building agentic systems across user interfaces, integrations, and agent harnesses.

  • Strong TypeScript experience across Node.js backend services and React or Next.js frontends.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Temporal; familiarity with tRPC is also relevant.

  • Ability to evaluate and maintain technical control over AI-generated code.

  • Experience in high-growth, venture-backed environments and working directly with users to define technical solutions.

  • A STEM or computer science degree and strong technical fundamentals.

  • Legal technology or other regulated-industry experience, and backend observability experience, are useful.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
