Senior/Staff Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Join an engineering team building AI/ML software for life sciences and drug discovery. You will create foundational product systems that help researchers work through complex scientific workflows and support growing enterprise demand.

What You'll Do

• Build new product features and systems across the frontend and backend.
• Design, develop, and own scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines across application, identity, storage, and machine learning layers.
• Ship code in fast-moving development cycles and contribute to production systems early.
• Work with engineering, product, design, and AI science colleagues to turn scientific workflows into intuitive, high-performance software.
• Own features from development through deployment, iteration, and scaling, with a focus on customer value.

What We're Looking For

• 10 or more years of professional full-stack or backend engineering experience.
• Experience building products at early-stage or high-growth startups and owning production systems used by customers.
• Strong proficiency with Python and React, plus experience with backend services, REST APIs, scalable systems, databases, and data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with Django, GraphQL, SQL, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, STEM, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical grounding.
• Curiosity about life sciences, drug discovery, or computational biology, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a communicative, in-person team.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $175,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
