Contract Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Canberra (until 30 June 2027) designing, deploying and supporting enterprise infrastructure — Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, SCCM/SCOM, networking, firewalls and data centre operations. An opportunity is available for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise infrastructure across servers, virtualisation, networking, cloud and data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, maintain and upgrade infrastructure and virtualised environments.
- Provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects and complex environments.
- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V/VMM, SCCM, SCOM, DNS and DHCP.
- Support enterprise networking, firewalls, load balancing and secure gateway technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive performance improvements.
- Support data centre operations, migrations, capacity planning and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Develop technical documentation, deployment guides, SOPs and technical specifications.
- Work with internal teams, vendors and service providers to deliver infrastructure outcomes.
- Support infrastructure across geographically distributed environments.
