FP&A
Key Operational Responsibilities
1) Provide financial and strategic business counsel to the Korea Country leadership team. The incumbent will support transformation initiatives within the organisation. This will encompass working across multiple functions with different stakeholders in identifying, designing and executing change initiatives that have a direct impact on the core strategy of the business. Focus will be on commercial excellence, working capital management, process optimisation, operational efficiencies and effectiveness and go-to-market strategies.
2) Support the Managing Director in KPI dashboard development and secure successful execution and track deliverance of agreed plans across the countries. Monitor and drive financial performance vs. last year, budget, trends and forecast. Identify and manage business risks. Escalation of issues and action plans to the appropriate business leaders as required. Analyse the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
3) Manage the financial performance by developing forecasts and monitoring ongoing performance against plan.
4) Support quarterly budget discussion with various functional leaders; liaison with key stakeholders and provision of analysis and advice.
5) Provide strong, forward-looking analytical leadership. Closely align with regional and global FP&A stakeholders to drive change.
6) Demonstrate proven ability in developing models and conducting analyses that identify critical trends, support strategic decision making and create forward visibility.
7) As part of the finance transformation, support the integration of the finance team into a more commercial orientated role.
8) Manage the production of reporting tools (bridges, scorecards, etc.) and key performance metrics to provide management insight into revenue and operating expense trends, track project spending, headcount and potential risks/opportunities to forecast or plan.
9) Ensure that Corporate initiatives and requirements are communicated to the Business and provide appropriate support in complying with these. Lead Country launch of Corporate initiatives or projects from time to time.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above - Bachelor’s degree in accounting/economics/ finance/ business, Chartered Accountant designation or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial finance experience, preferably within a multinational company environment.
• Fluent English; working proficiency in English required for communication with regional and global stakeholders.
Capabilities
• Ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of data in order to identify and present meaningful observations and recommendations.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting with an analytical mind with a strategic ability.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, financial management software (e.g. SAP, Dynamics 365) and BI reporting tools (e.g. Cognos, BO, Qlikview, Hyperion and etc).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Organised and methodical; Possess project management skill.
• Agility and the ability to react appropriately in a fluid business environment.
• Resilience, having the personal strength to work with difficult people and challenging circumstance.
• Skill in taking initiative, exercising sound judgment in problem-solving and decision making.
