Responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency Administer Ubuntu/Linux servers and provide support for Windows Server environments as needed Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Develop and manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes Support PHP/Magento environments, ensuring high availability and security Write automation scripts to streamline operational processes Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues Optionally support Microsoft Azure environments if required Ensure best practices in security, backup, and disaster recovery
Skills And Requirements
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS cloud services Strong expertise in Ubuntu/Linux administration; familiarity with Windows Server is a plus Proficient in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred) Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration Experience supporting PHP/Magento environments Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is advantageous Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a bonus Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration Availability for a 6–12 month freelance contract, with potential for extension
