Equipment Pilates Instructor

We are looking for an experienced, comprehensively qualified Pilates Instructor to join the TEN Pilates team.

Candidates must be qualified to teach across all Pilates equipment, including the Trapeze Table, Split Pedal Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Reformer and Mat. Reformer-only qualifications are not sufficient for this role. Proven experience delivering high-quality, personalised Equipment Pilates classes is essential, with experience delivering 1:1 sessions also desirable.

A Polestar Pilates qualification is preferred, supporting alignment with the approach and standards of our Head of Pilates, Jess Bass, and the wider Pilates team.

The role

• Deliver regular Equipment Pilates classes at our King’s Cross studio during the following time slots:

  • Saturdays: 10am–12pm

  • Sundays: 10am–12pm

  • Wednesdays: 6pm–8pm

  • Thursdays: 7am–9am

  • Fridays: 8am–10am

• Applicants are welcome to apply if available for some, but not all, of the advertised time slots. Please specify which regular slots you can commit to.

• Commit to delivering the agreed classes on a regular, ongoing basis, providing consistency for clients and the wider team.

• Provide additional cover for Equipment Pilates classes when required.

• Have the opportunity to deliver 1:1 Equipment Pilates sessions, supporting clients with personalised programming tailored to their individual needs and goals.

• Teach small-group classes of up to four clients in a circuit-style format, beginning with mat work before progressing to the Pilates equipment.

• Provide a high level of individual attention, adapting exercises and equipment to meet each client’s needs.

• Deliver every session in line with TEN’s standards and approach to Pilates teaching.

Requirements

• Comprehensive Pilates training, qualifying you to teach across all the equipment listed above.

• Proven experience teaching Equipment Pilates, ideally in a small-group setting.

• A strong understanding of movement, exercise technique, and appropriate progressions and regressions.

• Excellent communication and client-focused teaching skills.

• Alignment with TEN’s approach to delivering high-quality, personalised Pilates experiences.
