More about the role:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Senior Account Executive to join our Social team on a Freelance basis, with a primary focus on community management and audience engagement. This role is ideal for an individual who understands how to build meaningful connections between brands and their audiences, foster online communities, drive engagement, and protect reputation through effective conversation management.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will lead the day-to-day management of online communities across multiple social platforms, ensuring audiences receive timely, relevant, and engaging interactions. You will partner with account teams, strategists, creatives, and analysts to identify opportunities for engagement, uncover community insights, and help clients strengthen their digital presence through authentic audience relationships.
What you'll do:

Manage day-to-day community engagement across multiple social media platforms, ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-aligned responses.

Build, nurture, and grow online communities by creating meaningful interactions that strengthen audience relationships and brand loyalty.

Monitor conversations, sentiment, trends, and emerging issues through active social listening and community monitoring.

Develop community engagement plans, response frameworks, moderation guidelines, and escalation processes.

Work closely with clients to provide recommendations on engagement strategies, audience behaviour, and community best practices.

Identify opportunities to join relevant conversations, increase engagement, and drive positive community participation.

Analyse community performance, sentiment, audience trends, and engagement metrics to generate actionable insights and recommendations.

Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure content aligns with community needs, audience interests, and engagement objectives.
Experience that contributes to success:

Proven experience in community management, digital engagement, or social media communications within an agency or in-house environment.

Strong understanding of community building, moderation, audience engagement, social listening, and online reputation management.

Experience managing conversations across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels.

Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice and craft engaging audience responses.

Experience handling sensitive issues, community escalations, and reputation-related conversations in a professional manner.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement data, sentiment trends, and community insights.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple communities and priorities simultaneously.

Arabic language proficiency (written and spoken) is preferred.
