Description:

American Airlines Tech Ops department is in the process of creating a centralized location for data to improve data analytics, trending, dashboards, and reporting. We are seeking an experienced consultant with a strong background in Front End Development who has the ability to create functional web based solutions. This individual will assist Tech Ops in developing the tools necessary to create standard and custom reports utilizing reference data.

• Collaborate in an environment to rapidly iterate and prototype digital products

• Develop front end applications using strong DOM Markup, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS.

• Lead technical solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design deliverables

• Create pixel perfect visuals with cross browser compatibility (especially Internet Explorer)

• Develop with bandwidth optimization in mind

• Plan and provide estimates of Development time for tasks

• Apply up to date web development methods and use a solid understanding of good design principles

• Write clean, well-organized and fully documented code

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards

Qualifications:

• Experience developing Responsive Web Applications

• Expert knowledge of Object Oriented JavaScript Development

• Proficient in JavaScript coding of jQuery plugins or similar JavaScript frameworks

• JavaScript Framework proficiency (Angular JS, SPServices, jQuery, DC JS, Moment JS, DataTables JS)

• Ability to understand and develop SQL queries is desired but not required

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required

• 8-10 years experience required

Bachelors
