Front End Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong React.js expertise to support our AWS Platform improvement program. The ideal candidate will build modern, scalable, secure and user-friendly interfaces while collaborating with backend engineers, UX/UI designers and product teams to deliver high-quality cloud platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.js, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.

• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, reusable and maintainable code.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and follow frontend development standards and best practices.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices and production deployments.

• Troubleshoot frontend issues and ensure application stability, performance and security.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 9 years of overall IT experience, including 4–5 years of professional frontend development experience.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, React Hooks, Context API and TypeScript.

• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript ES6+.

• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite or esbuild.

• Hands-on experience with Git, REST APIs and backend integration.

• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library or Playwright.

• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda and API Gateway.

• Knowledge of micro-frontend architectures, including Module Federation or single-spa.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand or MobX.

• Familiarity with Figma, responsive design and accessibility standards.

• Exposure to CI/CD, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies and Jira.

• Understanding of frontend security practices, including XSS and CSRF prevention.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
