Frontend Engineer
Summary
Gambit Security is hiring a Frontend Engineer in Tel Aviv to own end-to-end user-facing features for its cyber resilience platform — building scalable, performant React and TypeScript applications, integrating with APIs and occasionally backend services, and mentoring teammates as the team grows.
This role is core to Gambit's fast-paced, impact-driven R&D culture. You'll own end-to-end frontend features and the systems behind them - taking ideas from concept to production, shaping the user experience of a platform that's defining a new category in cyber resilience, and making technical decisions with a clear line of sight to product impact. You'll build polished, performant interfaces on a modern React stack while staying comfortable reaching into the backend when a feature demands it.
About the Role
- Take ideas from design and concept through production - owning the full lifecycle of complex, user-facing features
- Design and build scalable, performant React applications with a focus on UX quality, accessibility, and maintainability
- Partner with backend systems and, when needed, contribute across the stack - APIs, data access, and cloud-deployed services
- Work closely with product, design, and backend teams, and partner with engineering leadership on technical direction
- Champion strong design practices, code quality, and review culture, and mentor teammates as the team scales
- Leverage modern frontend technologies, tooling, and cloud infrastructure to ship advanced resilience solutions quickly
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of frontend engineering experience in strong engineering teams - must
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with a strong grasp of modern frontend architecture, state management, and performance - must
- Solid understanding of building and consuming APIs and translating product requirements into clean, scalable UI - must
- Some backend experience - comfortable working with databases and cloud services - advantage
- Strong eye for UX, design systems, and component-driven development
- Experience with GraphQL, SSR frameworks, or testing frameworks - advantage
- Ability to make practical, forward-thinking technical decisions in fast-moving environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and product teams
