Frontend Engineer
Summary
Frontend engineer who builds and maintains customer-facing apps and internal dashboards, owning frontend architecture and component patterns. Day-to-day work centers on React, TypeScript, API integration, performance, accessibility, testing, and AI-assisted coding tools, fully on-site at SCBD, South Jakarta.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain customer-facing applications and internal dashboards.
Own frontend architecture and reusable component patterns.
Integrate backend APIs and manage application state.
Improve accessibility, performance, and automated test coverage.
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams.
Requirements
5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with application state management and REST or GraphQL integration.
Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
Experience optimizing rendering, bundle size, code splitting, and data loading.
Experience with Jest or equivalent testing tools, Git, and CI/CD.
Ability to design maintainable frontend architecture and troubleshoot production issues.
Experience using Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, or equivalent AI coding tools for development, testing, and refactoring.
Ability to verify AI-generated code and interfaces for functionality, accessibility, security, and performance, and handle sensitive data appropriately.
Full WFO at SCBD, South Jakarta.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing shared component libraries or design systems.
Familiarity with streaming responses, cancellation, loading states, and error recovery.
Experience building interfaces that allow users to review, correct, and provide feedback on AI outputs.
