RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrate and explain products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase productsIdentify interested and qualified customers and provide them with additional brand and product informationArticulate promotion information, and other incentives to educate/ persuade customers to consider purchasing productsDeliver sell-through to meet personal sales targetsPerform up-sell and cross-sell should opportunities ariseEnsure records of sale via the point-of-sale systemReplenish shelves with products and ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelinesPerform general housekeeping - keep areas neat while working, and return items to correct locationsProvide excellent service to customers and vendorsPerform stock check and stock count on a periodic basis, or as instructedExecute visual merchandising guidelinesObserve punctuality and proper grooming standardsEnsure security of store environment and report breach, where necessaryAttend to customers 'feedback/complaint and escalate, where necessaryRESULTS:Maintain professional image as brand ambassador to create positive lasting impressionAchieve assigned individual sales target and personal development objectivesSwift response to customers’ needsHighly motivated, professional and effective team memberExcellent customer service managementEssential Knowledge:Educated to SPM levelFluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin would be a plusBasic knowledge of retail operating environmentRetail management and store operationFootwear IndustryBasic visual merchandisingHousekeepingTechnical Skills:Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite – Words, ExcelBasic knowledge in operating point-of-sale system / cashiering systemBasic product awarenessAbility to engage general consumersGood communication skillsAbility to escalate issues, where necessarySelf-disciplined
