Summary
Design, build and maintain scalable backend services for a GRC SaaS platform focused on AI, privacy and security governance, using Node.js, TypeScript and Java in Rotterdam.
You design and build the core of our SaaS platform. You care about clean architecture, scalability and performance and enjoy solving complex problems with simple, effective solutions.
You take ownership of what you build, work closely with product and design, and contribute to a platform used by organisations worldwide for AI, privacy and security governance.

What you bring.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Solid experience with Java (Scala is a plus)
- Experience with microservice architectures and Docker
- Strong understanding of building scalable, reliable backend systems
Nice to have.
- Experience with RabbitMQ
- Experience with object storage (e.g. Swift)

- Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Work across services and systems, contributing to a Java-based environment (Scala is a plus)
- Build and improve systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability and reliability
- Collaborate closely with product, design and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
