Full Stack Developer

Location: Montreal
Work Mode: Onsite (day 1 onboarding onsite/in-office presence required 3x/week)

Design and develop complex software systems and applications, setting high standards for quality and innovation.
Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.
Deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Participate in Agile meetings, deliver project status, and adapt to evolving regulatory and business requirements.
Learn, improve, and apply company's proprietary frameworks and best practices.
Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
Respond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed.

Minimum 7 years of development experience with proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.
Proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Web Services, and Relational databases.
Experience with UI development frameworks (preferably Angular, React, etc.).
Experience with AI coding assistants like copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc., for software development, automation, reporting, or analytics.
Demonstrated experience in designing complex, large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives and understand the financial aspects of technology decisions.

Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
Understanding of serverless architecture.
Competency with source control systems (preferably git), CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ensuring streamlined development processes.
Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools.
Basic understanding of Linux and Shell scripting.
