Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus)

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our small but dynamic team for an exciting new project. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in server-side programming, extensive experience with modern backend frameworks (Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Ruby on Rails), and a solid understanding of front-end development using Vue.js and TypeScript. Additionally, knowledge of database management and DevOps methodologies is crucial. This role requires a problem-solver who is comfortable working across the stack, has a keen eye for scalability, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend logic and architecture using Node.js, PHP (with Laravel), and Ruby on Rails. Ensure the implementation of clean, efficient, and secure server-side code.
  
• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain front-end components using Vue.js and TypeScript. Work closely with designers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL. Ensure the database design supports scalability and high performance.
  
• API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate smooth communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  
• DevOps & CI/CD: Implement DevOps best practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, to streamline development workflows. Automate deployments and manage cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks across both front-end and back-end and implement solutions to improve load times and responsiveness.
  
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and debug complex issues to ensure code quality and stability.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with the other developer in the team to ensure project milestones are met. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for future reference, including API documentation and deployment guides.
  
• Learning & Development: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in full stack development and recommend improvements to the tech stack and workflow.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  
• Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on backend development.
  
• Technical Skills:
  
• Backend: Expert-level knowledge in Node.js, PHP (including Laravel), and Ruby on Rails.
  
• Front-End: Proficiency in Vue.js and TypeScript for building modern, responsive web interfaces.
  
• Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, including database design, optimization, and complex queries.
  
• API Development: Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  
• DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaboration tools like GitHub or GitLab.
