Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack, from the user interface to the database.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain APIs for integration with third-party services and internal systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of deployed applications.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Must be eligible to work remotely and available for online collaboration during South African working hours.
