About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile Full-Stack Developer to join their project team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role involves working on diverse web development projects, from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the creation of high-quality, responsive, and functional web applications. This is an on-site position offering a collaborative work environment where you can contribute to exciting projects and gain valuable experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user-facing features using modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks).
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
- Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure cohesive user experiences.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong experience with backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python with Django/Flask, PHP with Laravel).
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
