Full Stack Developer

The primary responsibility of this role is to build and maintain production-level software applicationswhich includes implementing responsive and interactive user interfaces, developing reliable backend modulesand/or APIs, and making key database decisions.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business needs and translate them to technical requirements
• Exhibit good front-end and back-end skills in building and maintaining applications
• Make key decisions on the overall stack and software design of projects
• Design and suggest user interfaces paired with UX principles
• Create CI/CD configurations to serve applications in a production environment
• Collaborate with team members practicing different agile methodologies for software development

Required for the Role

• Ability to design software with production-ready software engineering standards
• Proficiency in Javascript and Typescript
• Skills on JS library/frameworks specifically ReactJS, ExpressJS, Apollo, and NestJS
• Knowledge of standard API methodologies such as Rest and GraphQL
• Knowledge on working with Postgres and Mongo databases
• Ability to navigate in a Linux environment
• Familiarity with production deployment and CI/CD
• Knowledge of UI/UX paradigms
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Willingness to work in BGC office, as per schedule

Desirable

• Proficiency in Python and Docker
• Hands on experience in working with event based architectures
• Ability to navigate on an AWS ecosystem
• Ability to architect fullstack greenfield projects
• Knowledge on mitigating common security vulnerabilities on cloud based products
