Design, develop, test, and maintain
enterprise web applications using Java and SPA technologies . Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions. Develop and maintain REST-based services and web applications. Participate in application design, estimation, and technical reviews. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and development best practices. Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and production support activities. Contribute to performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required. Education: Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 6 years' relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution. Global Markets and Back Office: Preferable to have exposure to Global Markets and Back Office applications development experience Java and Open Source Frameworks: Strong Core Java expertise with hands-on experience in Collections, I/O, and Multithreading. Strong understanding of Java Design Patterns and coding best practices. Good knowledge of Spring Framework, including MVC and JPA modules. Hands-on experience with Hibernate development. Experience with Spring Boot application development. Security: Knowledge of ADFS, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, and Spring Security. Web Development: Experience in Angular and/or React development. Strong TypeScript and JavaScript development skills. Good understanding of Web Application Design principles. Databases: Strong RDBMS and SQL development skills. Messaging: Messaging fundamentals like Queueing, Pub/Sub, Channels, DLQ etc. JMS, IBM MQ Websphere or Rabbit MQ
