Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end systems.
- Build and maintain APIs and system integration components.
- Develop and support serverless functions, message queues and containerised applications.
- Troubleshoot application errors, integration issues and performance problems.
- Implement bug fixes, system enhancements and new application features.
- Maintain automated testing, build processes and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Apply secure coding practices and support application security testing.
- Implement access controls, audit logging and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other technical teams on application integration.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide production support when required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks, back-end development and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of databases, serverless functions, containers and messaging services.
- Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimisation and system monitoring.
- Experience developing cloud-hosted applications or supporting cloud migration is an advantage.
