Full Stack Developer
Summary
A contract-retainer full-stack developer role taking Tikva One, a secure medicolegal reporting platform, from prototype to production. Day to day the developer builds front end, backend, database and integrations, ensuring security and auditability, working with a non-technical product owner and AI-assisted tools like Claude Code.
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to work with us on a contractual retainer basis to develop and deploy Tikva One from prototype through to production. This is a hands-on build role for someone who can take an existing product vision, specification and prototype, turn it into a robust production platform, and work collaboratively with a non-developer product owner throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Help translate the Tikva One product specification and prototype into a secure, maintainable production platform.
- Build and refine the front end, backend, database and core integrations.
- Work iteratively to improve workflows, resolve technical issues and move the product through staged releases.
- Ensure appropriate security, permissions, auditability, version control and data handling are built into the platform.
- Review and strengthen code created through AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.
- Support testing, deployment, documentation and handover as the platform develops.
About you
- Strong full-stack development experience and a track record of delivering production web applications.
- Confident across modern front-end development, backend/API development and relational databases.
- Experience designing secure systems with authentication, permissions and audit requirements.
- Ability to work independently, make practical technical decisions and communicate clearly with a non-technical product owner.
- Experience using tools such as Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development environments in a production workflow.
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Highly regarded: Experience in healthcare, medicolegal, insurance, legal-tech or another regulated environment.
- Highly regarded: Experience with document-heavy workflows, secure portals, AI/LLM integrations or accounting/API integrations.
