Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for a Full Stack Dev Ops Engineer - Generative AI Platform (Senior) to join their team. Be part of a Dev Ops team that implements and operates functional services in our Generative AI platform application.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for both frontend and backend components. Review code of team members. Optimize application performance and cost-effectiveness. Create and maintain documentation. Analyse operational incidents. Handle operational requests e.g., onboarding of use cases to the platform.
Qualifications/Experience: 4+ years in professional software development. 2+ years experience with application development on AWS cloud. 2+ years experience with Ops / Dev Ops in IT applications. Agile working experience (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Ability to understand and interpret business requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation. Backend and library development in Python. Design architectures and implement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) - (API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Lambda, Networking, S3, IAM, etc.). Git and Git Hub Actions. Terraform and Terra Grunt (Ia C).
Advantageous Skills Requirements: Experience with development for Azure Cloud e.g., Azure Web Apps, Networking. Experience with working with Large Language Models and frameworks like Lang Chain. Willing and able to mentor junior developers. Angular unit testing frameworks e.g., Jest or Karma. Python unit testing frameworks e.g., Py Test. Above-board work ethics. Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project. Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing). Package & Remuneration
