You’ll ship to real users, on systems that stay in production for years. Small team, no layers between you and the people making product decisions.
What you’ll actually do
Build and own features end-to-end across Vue.js front-ends and Node.js APIs — you’ll take a feature from spec to production, not hand it off at a boundary
Design the data models and API contracts behind them, on SQL and NoSQL stores
Extend our shared component library, so what you build once gets reused across client products
Debug the hard ones: performance bottlenecks, production incidents, the bug nobody else can reproduce
Review your teammates’ code and have yours reviewed
What you need
- (2–4)+ years building production web applications, front and back
- Vue.js (or strong React with willingness to switch)
- Node.js and REST API design
- SQL fundamentals — schema design, query performance, not just ORM calls
- Git, and comfort working in a CI/CD pipeline
- Enough written English to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder
Nice to have
- GCP, AWS, or Azure and DevOps experience
- React
- Laravel PHP (some of our older systems run on it)
- Experience in healthcare, automotive, or financial services software
