Summary

Full-stack engineer who keeps live production applications running: troubleshooting APIs, webhooks, and integrations, investigating incidents, managing safe deployments and rollbacks, and documenting technical decisions. Emphasis on reliability, security, and using AI coding assistants in the workflow.

Full-Stack Software Engineer – Production Systems & Integrations

We are looking for a hands‑on Full-Stack Software Engineer with proven experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications in live production environments.

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, experience troubleshooting APIs and integrations, and the judgment to make safe changes to existing systems. This role involves maintaining live applications, investigating incidents, managing deployments, documenting technical decisions, and improving interconnected operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve full-stack applications and integrated systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues involving APIs, webhooks, databases, and third‑party platforms.
  • Investigate data flows, integration failures, and system exceptions.
  • Test changes thoroughly, deploy safely, and execute rollbacks when necessary.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, incident records, and handover notes.
  • Monitor system alerts, communicate risks early, and elevate issues appropriately.
  • Collaborate with developers and non‑technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and explain technical risks.
  • Apply secure coding practices, appropriate access controls, and responsible data‑governance practices.
  • Use AI‑assisted coding and development tools to improve productivity, debugging, research, and code quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience launching and supporting software in live production environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting production incidents and handling failed deployments or rollbacks.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work with existing codebases and troubleshoot interconnected systems.
  • Knowledge of system permissions, data security, and access management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical work clearly.
  • Experience working collaboratively with developers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Practical experience using AI coding assistants as part of the development workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare, Zapier, or similar cloud and integration platforms.
  • Experience maintaining business‑critical applications and third‑party integrations.
  • Familiarity with incident management, production monitoring, and operational documentation.

Ideal Candidate

A pragmatic engineer who takes ownership of production systems, investigates problems methodically, tests before releasing changes, and communicates risks before they escalate. The ideal candidate values reliability, security, documentation, and collaboration as much as writing code.
