Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Full-stack developer (5+ yrs) joining a client's tech team in Dubai via an HR services firm, building scalable web apps end-to-end: React/Angular/Vue frontends, Node.js/Python/Java backends, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes. Fluency in Russian and English is mandatory.
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our client's technology team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across the entire software development lifecycle - from frontend user interfaces to backend architecture and database management.
This position requires fluency in both Russian and English to collaborate effectively with international teams, stakeholders, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
- Build responsive, intuitive frontend interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Develop robust backend services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years** of professional experience in full-stack software development
- Fluency in Russian and English - mandatory. Arabic is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Solid backend development experience with Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in multicultural, international environments preferred
Preferred
Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong technical portfolio
