Working alongside Product, Data Science and Engineering teams, you'll design and build the systems that enable rapid experimentation, A/B testing and data-driven product innovation at global scale.

Based in CAPE TOWN, this FULL STACK ENGINEER opportunity offers a salary of R1.2m - R1.3m.

THE ROLE:

If you're passionate about building highly scalable software platforms - and love using experimentation and data to influence product direction - this role offers a unique opportunity.

You'll become part of the team responsible for building and evolving the company's experimentation platform, enabling engineering and product teams to test new ideas safely, measure customer behaviour and continuously optimise products through data.

You'll:

Design and build highly scalable, secure and fault-tolerant full stack applications. Develop cloud-native APIs, backend services and modern web applications. Build the experimentation capabilities that enable continuous A/B testing and product optimisation. Partner closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Engineers to translate business problems into elegant technical solutions. Continuously improve system reliability, scalability, performance and user experience. Develop automated testing and maintain high-quality engineering standards. Help shape the future direction of the experimentation platform used across multiple products globally. REQUIRED SKILLS: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Excellent experience with React / Next.js or similar modern front-end frameworks. Strong backend development experience using Node.js and REST APIs. Excellent software engineering practices including automated testing. Experience working within cloud environments (Azure preferred). Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product and business teams. HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS: Experience with any of the following will make you stand out: Experimentation platforms or A/B testing frameworks. Statistics, Data Science or large-scale analytics platforms.
