Full Stack Engineer - Data Platform
Summary
Build and maintain scalable web apps, APIs, and data platforms using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, React, and AWS services like ECS, RDS, and S3.
Role Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
Develop backend APIs and manage databases to support applications.
Perform data transformation, cleansing, and flow management.
Design and deploy data lakes, operational data stores, and data virtualisation layers.
Take ownership of end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
Build responsive, accessible, and secure frontend applications.
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Work with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
Ensure full-stack security including authentication, authorization, API security, and frontend security.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and security-related issues.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience across full-stack or data engineering roles. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and SQL. Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js. Strong experience with AWS Cloud (ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, RDS, S3). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, OWASP Top 10, and API security.
