Job Description:

2 to 4 years building production applications end to end

      •     Strong Node.js with TypeScript in production

      •     React in production. TanStack is a plus

      •     PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, transactions, migrations

      •     Real experience integrating with enterprise or third party APIs

      •     REST API design with versioning

      •     Automated testing at unit and integration level

      •     Git, code review, CI/CD

      •     Hands on with GitHub Copilot or a comparable AI assistant in real project work

Strong plus

      •     MongoDB to PostgreSQL migration, or document to relational remodelling

      •     Event driven work with Kafka, Azure Event Grid or similar

      •     Azure or AWS, Docker

      •     OAuth2 and OIDC

      •     GDPR awareness

      •     German, useful but not required

AI led development

      •     You prompt well: clear context, constraints, iteration

      •     You treat AI output as a first draft, and can defend every line in review

      •     You know where it helps and where it does not

      •     You never paste code, credentials or personal data into tools outside the agreed setup

Communication, non negotiable

Distributed team, across time zones, with stakeholders who are not developers.

      •     Fluent written and spoken English, confident in workshops and calls

      •     Explains a technical trade off without jargon

      •     Asks clarifying questions early instead of guessing

      •     Writes clearly: crisp pull requests, useful daily updates

      •     Raises blockers the day they appear, not at the sprint review
