The Backend developer will be developing efficient and scalable microservices in the Node.js stack to meet project requirements. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality backend solutions that drive the functionality and performance of our applications.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education Minimum Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 year of experience in development of backend APIs using NodeJS or related frameworks.
- Experience building scalable and efficient backend microservices, with a focus on performance optimization and resource management.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and best practices. Experience with GraphQL schema design and implementation will be an advantage.
- Deploy microservices on cloud servers using containerization technologies/serverless and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong understanding of database systems such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and experience with database modeling, querying, and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services into overall application architecture and functionality.
Mandatory :experience/knowledge of the AWS services like Cognito, SES, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Fargate, EC2, Eventbridge, Cloudwatch, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3. (4 Mandatory)

- Ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of backend services through thorough testing and optimization techniques.
- Implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs for seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
- Deploying backend services on cloud servers using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.
- Collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate backend services into overall application architecture and functionality.
- Participating in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain high code quality standards and resolve issues promptly.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in backend development, and proactively suggesting improvements to enhance system performance and maintainability.
