Full Stack Engineer (L1)
Summary
Entry-level (L1) full stack engineer in Islamabad building and shipping features across Dataspecc's B2B SaaS products using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Supabase. The role integrates third-party APIs, helps build LLM-powered features and agents, and expects daily use of AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
About Dataspecc
Dataspecc builds robust, scalable SaaS products that solve real-world problems for B2B companies worldwide. Our portfolio includes CardClan, Hyperengage, and sociali.ai. We value curiosity, ownership, and a bias for shipping elegant solutions fast.
Role Overview
We're hiring an L1 Full Stack Engineer with 1–2 years of experience who is hungry to grow fast and ship faster. You'll build and ship real features across our products, take ownership of problems from start to finish, and work closely with senior engineers, product, and design. This is an AI-first engineering role: you should already build with AI coding tools every day. If you use Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to move faster than most engineers at your level, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and ship full-stack features using Next.js (App Router, server components, API routes) and Tailwind CSS
- Use Supabase for the back end: Postgres schema design, auth, row-level security, storage, and edge functions
- Integrate third-party APIs and services (payments, CRMs, email, social platforms, LLM providers), handling auth, webhooks, rate limits, and errors properly
- Help build AI-powered features and agents: wire up LLM APIs, tool calling, and multi-step workflows inside our products
- Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, or similar) as a core part of how you write, debug, refactor, and document code
- Break down unclear problems, find root causes, and come up with practical solutions without waiting to be told how
- Fix bugs, improve performance, and help keep production stable
- Take part in code reviews, learn from feedback quickly, and raise the bar on your own work
Must-Have Skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience building web applications with TypeScript
- Solid working knowledge of Next.js and React
- Hands-on experience with Supabase or a similar Postgres-based back end, including writing SQL and designing tables
- Experience integrating third-party REST APIs and webhooks
- Familiar with Git workflows and basic testing practices
- Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools, with clear examples of how they help you ship faster and better
- Strong problem-solving ability and a habit of figuring things out independently
- High drive, a willingness to learn fast, and ownership of what you ship
Nice to Have
- Experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) or agent frameworks (Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, MCP)
- Side projects, open-source contributions, or products you've built and shipped on your own (bonus if built with AI tools or if they include an AI agent)
- Exposure to Supabase edge functions, Vercel deployments, or CI/CD pipelines
