Full Stack Engineer
Summary
On-site Full Stack Engineer for Se'Indonesia (Lakuliner), a fast-growing Indonesian smoked-meat fast-food F&B brand. Day to day: building scalable Node.js/Express APIs, optimizing PostgreSQL, managing Redis/RabbitMQ background jobs, and building React/Next.js frontends deployed on AWS, with optional Odoo ERP work.
SE’INDONESIA is a local fast-food brand that has popularized the smoked meat dish from East Nusa Tenggara (sei) at affordable prices. Recognized as one of the fastest-growing F&B pioneers, the brand has become a source of national pride after being included in Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch 2025 list. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer candidate to join the Se'Indonesia team with the following details.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js (Express.js) and modern frontend frameworks.
Build and optimize robust REST APIs and backend services with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and clean architecture.
Work extensively with PostgreSQL for data modeling, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
Implement and manage background jobs, asynchronous processing, and message queues using Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
Develop responsive and high-quality frontend interfaces using React and/or Next.js.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver features on time.
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
(Optional) Support or integrate with ERP systems, particularly Odoo, when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Backend-heavy Full Stack Developer.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, particularly Express.js.
Solid proficiency in PostgreSQL (schema design, complex queries, performance optimization).
Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ (or other message queues), background jobs, and asynchronous processing patterns.
Comfortable working with React and/or Next.js.
Experience in REST API design and development.
Good understanding of testing practices (unit, integration, and/or end-to-end testing).
Experience with cloud deployment and services on AWS.
