Full Stack Engineer Python with Cloud, Integrations Observability

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Python Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Python development, API integrations, cloud deployment and production engineering.

The ideal candidate should have end-to-end experience in developing, integrating, deploying and supporting applications in production environments. You should be comfortable working with Python, REST APIs, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes and monitoring/observability tools.

We are looking for an engineer who can build applications, deploy them, troubleshoot production issues and improve application reliability through automation and observability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications and services using Python.
• Develop and manage REST API integrations with enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms.
• Work with JSON, XML, microservices and API-based communication.
• Manage source code using Git/GitHub and follow standard development workflows.
• Containerize and deploy Python applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms to support application deployment and releases.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and deployment issues in production environments.
• Analyze application logs, metrics and performance to identify and resolve issues.
• Implement application monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerts using APM and observability tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive continuous improvements in application reliability.
• Support OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and related application-platform integrations where required.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with strong hands-on Python development.
• Strong experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI or Django.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, API integration, JSON and XML.
• Practical experience with Git/GitHub and source code management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in application deployment, production support and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of application monitoring, logging, metrics and observability.
• Exposure to APM and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus or Splunk.
• Strong analytical, debugging and root cause analysis skills.

Good to Have

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
• Helm, ArgoCD and GitOps.
• OpenSearch, Elasticsearch or ELK Stack.
• React, Angular or other frontend technologies.
• Understanding of SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs and reliability engineering.
