Detailed Job Description

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Quantum Talent Group in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full ownership of developing end-to-end software features, optimizing database queries, and maintaining high-availability web applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass building responsive user interfaces with modern frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js), engineering scalable backend services using Node.js, Python, or Java, and integrating secure REST and GraphQL APIs. You will participate in code reviews, write comprehensive unit and integration tests, optimize application performance, and collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD deployment pipelines. Working in a fast-paced client-facing environment requiring UAE residency for a 12-month contract, you will solve complex technical challenges and ensure adherence to best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust full-stack web applications and enterprise software solutions.
• Build dynamic, responsive, and accessible user interfaces utilizing modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Engineer scalable backend microservices, RESTful APIs, and serverless functions using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Manage database schemas, data modeling, query optimization, and integration with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers in Agile sprint cycles.
• Participate in peer code reviews, architectural discussions, and refactoring initiatives to maintain high code quality standards.
• Implement comprehensive automated testing frameworks, unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing suites.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects across frontend, backend, and database layers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional software development experience specializing in full-stack engineering.
• Strong programming proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern backend languages (Python, Java, or Node.js).
• Deep practical experience building and maintaining responsive frontend user interfaces with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid working knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and asynchronous event processing.
