About the role
We're looking for a hands-on Full Stack Engineer to join a team delivering technology solutions across privacy, security, online safety, AI governance, and sensitive data protection.
In this role, you'll work directly with client teams to translate business, security, and regulatory requirements into reliable software solutions. You'll be involved throughout the delivery lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to development, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
This is a client-facing engineering role for someone who is comfortable working with evolving requirements, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating with product, engineering, security, privacy, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Translate business goals, risk considerations, and policy requirements into technical designs, product specifications, engineering backlogs, and delivery plans.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and troubleshoot production applications and services.
- Build APIs, automated workflows, system integrations, dashboards, and supporting components.
- Incorporate AI and generative AI capabilities into solutions where appropriate.
- Implement privacy, security, and AI governance requirements through automated reviews, controls-as-code, policy enforcement, and monitoring.
- Work with client stakeholders and technical specialists to prototype solutions, validate approaches, and resolve engineering challenges.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, security, privacy, data, risk, and compliance teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to reusable tools, components, and engineering practices.
- Help identify and resolve issues across applications, integrations, data, and deployment environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience translating client or business requirements into technical architectures using REST APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, or serverless services.
- 4+ years of experience developing and deploying production solutions using Python, Java, or Node.js.
- 1+ year of experience delivering solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containers, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
- 6+ months of experience designing or deploying generative AI or LLM solutions in a client or production environment.
- Experience in at least one relevant domain, such as privacy, security, digital trust, online safety, product compliance, AI governance, data protection, or cryptography.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to different audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and delivery quality.
Nice to have
- Experience building applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and React or Next.js.
- Experience implementing technical controls for generative AI, LLM, or agentic AI applications.
- Familiarity with human oversight mechanisms, tool access restrictions, prompt-injection protections, logging, monitoring, or controls-as-code.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare, or the public sector.
- Familiarity with requirements or frameworks such as SOX, PCI DSS, FFIEC, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Neo4j.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, SailPoint, Okta, or OneTrust.
