About the Role
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team, working across both frontend and backend development to build and improve high-quality, modern web applications.
You’ll work across TypeScript, React, .NET and Azure, collaborating closely with engineers, product and design teams to deliver scalable and reliable software.
The team is also embracing AI-assisted development and agentic coding practices, using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code to improve development velocity and code quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack web applications
- Build frontend solutions using TypeScript and React
- Develop backend services and APIs using .NET, C# and ASP.NET Core
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Work with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core and MongoDB
- Develop and deploy solutions within Microsoft Azure
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering teams
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and development workflows
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ professional experience in full-stack software development
- Strong TypeScript and React experience, including hooks, context and state management
- Strong backend development experience with .NET / C# / ASP.NET Core / Web API
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
- Knowledge of MongoDB
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure
- Experience using, or strong enthusiasm for, AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable
- CI/CD and DevOps experience
- Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Understanding of application security and OWASP
- Experience integrating AI into software development workflows
- Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated environment
